Elkhorn Valley Hunting Retriever Club was started on a snowy, spring day in 2004, by a group of hunters who were looking to train their retrievers to be better, more complete hunting dogs.  We are based out of Norfolk Nebraska and have members spread all over northeast Nebraska.  Our main goal is to have our dogs ready for hunting season, to train during the off season with other hunters, and to give us and our dogs no "off season".  We host club training days monthly and have several smaller groups that train weekly and host UKC/HRC hunt tests.  We are a family based club and encourage our members and their families to share and participate in club activities.
